Helenius gave a sample in a voluntary doping test on August 11. He faced Anthony Joshua in London the next day.
Finnish boxer Robert Helenius has given a positive doping sample, says Matchroom Boxing. Matchroom Boxing, which organized the match between Helenius and Anthony Joshua, reports on the X service, which was previously known as Twitter.
According to the writing, Helenius gave a positive doping sample on August 11, i.e. the day before his match Anthony Joshua against in London. It was a voluntary doping test.
Matchroom Boxing has received information from VADA (Voluntary Anti-Doping Association). The promoter’s announcement says that an “adverse analytical finding” has been found in Helenius’ sample, which in everyday language translates into a positive test result.
According to the promoter, the processing of the matter has moved forward.
