SOS FEST offers wetland-themed activities for all ages this weekend.
Save Our Swamps is the theme for the event to be held from 2 pm to 8 pm at the Hearts Content Organic Farm.
Located at 27 Ronald Road, off Jerseyville Road in the east end of the County of Brant, activities will include a variety of live music, and authentic Mexican food from 5 to 7 pm
Hosted by the Langford Conservancy, nature walks, a medicinal plant walk, and a hands-on aquatic creature workshop are also offered.
For anyone who may have difficulty accessing trails, Hamilton-Burlington Cycling Without Age is making an electric trishaw available, pedalled by trained pilots for use on the rail trail.
