World of Warcraft launches a new game mode today. With the “Hardcore” variant you can prove how good you really are.
“World of Warcraft used to be hard” was one of the beliefs that many veterans persuaded themselves back then before the launch of WoW Classic. But most of them had to realize: No, it was just more time-consuming. But now Blizzard brings a really “tough” version of World of Warcraft Classic – namely the hardcore version. Anyone who dies here stays dead.
This gives many the opportunity to prove that they are up to the task. Special servers with very special game rules are already starting today.
What is WoW Classic Hardcore? With World of Warcraft Classic, Blizzard brings official servers that implement particularly tough rules that parts of the community have already imposed on themselves. That means in detail:
The hardcore version is included in the normal WoW subscription. So if you just want to get a taste of the new servers and at the latest with Hogger you want to permanently walk through the world as a ghost, you can do that easily.
When does it start? The servers for WoW Classic Hardcore start one hour before midnight, which is 11:00 p.m. on August 24th. So you still have a few hours to stock up on energy drinks and lots of tips so that you don’t give up your digital spoon right away on the first harder quest.
Will you play WoW Classic Hardcore? Or is that not for you at all?
