Showcase unveils epic conclusion to the first saga of The Final Form DLC

Today, August 22nd, Destiny 2 will reveal the conclusion of its first major saga of light and darkness. The Destiny editorial team is there live for you and provides you with all the important details and background information about the unveiling stream in German.

This is already known about the big showcase for “Die Finale Form”:

  • Bungie will announce the name of the new Season 22 and show the first trailer.
  • There is information about the destination of “The Final Form” and a preview of what’s new.
  • With the DLC, a new ability will probably come into play, as a leak may reveal.
  • The new Legacy Raid, which starts in Season 22 on September 1st, is introduced.
  • Guardians will likely also get a first glimpse into the future of Destiny 2 and how the loot shooter will continue in 2025.

    Bungie’s live stream begins

    Bungie has just launched the PreShow. It goes nostalgically back to the beginnings of Destiny 1 and how the Guardians once awoke in the cosmodrome.
    The actual showcase will then start at 6:00 p.m. and will probably last about 45 minutes. And remember the twitch drop. We explained how to get it later in this article.

    This short trailer already got the guardians in the mood for the show.

    When does it start? The unveiling event starts today at 18:00 German time. However, you can tune in from 5:00 p.m. and follow a small Destiny preshow.

    At 7:00 p.m., the new Season 22 will start, in which the guardians should perk up Savathun. But before that happens, you still have to accept a downtime.

    Here’s how you can watch the stream: Interested Guardians can watch on Twitch, YouTube, TikTok, and Bilibili.

    There will also be a separate stream for the German Destiny community on Twitch.tv/bungieDE with German subtitles and we will also be ticking live so that you don’t miss anything.

    Get an exclusive Twitch emblem for the stream

    If you want, you can also grab an exclusive Twitch drop during tonight’s big reveal stream. Bungie created the “The Silhouette” emblem as a reward for this.

    How to get the Showcase Emblem: To be eligible, you must ensure that your Twitch account is linked to your Destiny 2 account.

  • To do this, go to bungie.net and log in with your data. To do this, click on the icon in the upper right corner and select the platform on which you play Destiny 2 and enter your data.
  • After logging in, you can click on your profile settings. You can reach this via the player symbol in the upper right corner. Go to Settings to get to the account settings.
  • Under “Account Linking” you will now see all available platforms that you can link to your Bungie Account. So Xbox, PlayStation, Epic, Steam and Twitch.
  • Then click on Twitch there and, if you are not using a pop-up blocker, you will get an input window for the link.
  • After that, all you have to do is log into your Twitch account and click Authorize. J

    • Once that’s done, all you have to do is watch the showcase for at least 30 minutes tonight to get the exclusive emblem.
