Within the scope of the Setra Multiclass 500 Low Entry project, implemented by the global engineers of the Daimler network, in which the Mercedes-Benz Turkish Bus R&D team played a leading role in the design and development, vehicles suitable for both urban and non-urban use were designed in line with the expectations of the customers and the market. The new vehicles, which are planned to replace the Citaro Low Entry vehicles produced in Mannheim, will meet the demands of both Citaro and Setra Low Entry customers. In the new project of the Überland vehicle group, which includes vehicles such as Setra Überland and Setra Low Entry, 3 vehicle types with 2 axles of 10.5, 12 and 13 meters in length and 1 vehicle type with 3 axles of 15 meters will be ready for mass production. All planning, purchasing and logistics processes of the vehicles, which have been working for almost three years and will be exported to the whole world with the start of mass production, are carried out by Mercedes-Benz Türk.

Setra Multiclass 500 Low Entry project The vehicles produced within the scope of the project will have a new design and different variations. For example, a 12-meter vehicle; It will meet customers with 3 different gearboxes, 2 different air conditioning systems, 3 different cockpit types and different variations of seat and skeleton systems according to customer demand. Within the scope of the project, customers will be able to shape vehicles in a wide spectrum according to their needs. The vehicles, whose interior and exterior designs are remarkably planned, will also undertake the mission of making transportation accessible to everyone with the additional equipment offered for disabled individuals. Thanks to its automatic braking feature, vehicles that prevent hitting objects suddenly on the road will send a warning to drivers when there are objects approaching from the blind spot, thanks to the feature called “side guide assist”.
