Norfolk man faces impaired charge

A 66-year-old Norfolk County resident has been charged with impaired driving.

Norfolk OPP say the accused was taken into custody following a two-vehicle collision at a Robinson Street location in Simcoe at about 7:02 pm on Saturday, August 19.

No injuries were reported.

Bicycle stolen in Simcoe

Norfolk OPP are investigating the theft of a bicycle from a Norfolk Street South address in Simcoe.;

Police say the blue 2023 GT Laguna mountain bike parked near the entrance of a business was stolen at about 1:30 pm on Friday, August 18.

Items stolen from vehicle

Police are investigating a theft from a motor vehicle that occurred on Saturday, August 19, just after 7 am

Norfolk OPP say the suspect gained entry to a vehicle parked on the roadway at an Argyle Street address in Simcoe.

An Apple iPhone, a case that held bank cards, a health card and Canadian currency were reported stolen.

The suspect, a Caucasian male, 6′ tall, with a shaved head and wearing black pants and a gray t-shirt, was last seen walking westbound on Sydenham Street.

Police remind residents to remove all valuables from their vehicle and lock the doors.

Garage door damaged

Police continue to investigate damage to property on Talbot Road in Delhi.

Norfolk OPP say that in the late evening hours of Friday, August 18 or early morning hours of Saturday, August 19, someone spray painted a garage door on the property.
