A detonation took place in connection with an apartment building in central Hässleholm last night.
The police suspect that it is a deliberate explosion.
– We are looking at whether it is an ongoing conflict or a new conflict, says Hagström.
At 02:00 on the night of Monday, an explosion occurred in central Hässleholm.
– We have had a detonation at an apartment building, at its gate. There were some injuries, says Henrik Hagström, officer on duty at police region South.
The National Bomb Squad was in place during the night, but it is still unclear what detonated.
– We are investigating whether it is an ongoing conflict or a new one, says Hagström.
So you suspect that it is a deliberate explosion?
– We are working unconditionally around what has happened.
At 06.20 the place was still cordoned off. Police have not arrested any suspects.
