North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un has visited a naval unit and inspected a test of a strategic cruise missile, state news agency KCNA said.

When the visit should have taken place is unclear. It is also not clear what type of robot should have been fired, but it is described as having “hit its target immediately and without the slightest error”.

The alleged postponement came ahead of the annual US-South Korea joint military exercise that will run until August 31.
