At 03:00 on Friday night, the police were called to Vallby in Västerås, when several people called in about a suspicious shooting. At the scene, the police found an injured man aged 25.
On Saturday afternoon, the emergency room at Västmanland Hospital was able to announce that the man had left the hospital.
Two people are now under arrest on suspicion of weapons offenses and attempted murder.
