The Netherlands and Denmark send F16 planes to Ukraine

The Netherlands and Denmark will send F-16 planes to Ukraine. This was announced by Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte during Volodymyr Zelenskyi’s visit to the country.
“Thank you Netherlands!”, writes Volodymyr Zelenskyj on X.

On the social media platform X, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announces that the Netherlands is sending 42 F16 planes to Ukraine.

– 42 planes is a lot and extremely good for Ukraine. But they may not come in one board, but a few at a time. The first plans may come in six months at the earliest. And for it to think, the Ukrainian air bases need to be expanded and asphalted, says Lieutenant Colonel Johan Huovinen at the Norwegian Defense Academy.

Zelenskyjs is visiting the Netherlands. Then the country’s Prime Minister Mark Rutte will announce that Denmark will also send planes. This is reported by AP.

According to the post on X, the plane is to be sent to Ukraine as soon as Ukrainian pilots and engineers complete their training.
