The Has Fallen series revolves around Secret Service agent Mike Banning (Butler) who protects US President Alan Trumbull (Freeman) with his life. In Angel Has Fallen he becomes the victim of a plot and suddenly has to fight against his own colleagues while he finds out about his true enemies.

The action franchise is very successful in cinemas. Apparently Freeman noticed that too, and bluntly explained why he’s in the series: “Money”, he told the PA press agency, quoted by FandomWire. “It’s the third in a series and it’s more rewarding than the first.”
But he doesn’t care about the films at all: “I play the president, it’s a successful series I was working with someone I really like. It’s perfect.However, it is not yet certain when the next paycheck will be due.
Gerard Butler’s action series is slated for a sequel. Butlers recently told Comicbook that a sequel is in development. But he wants himself take a break from the role of Mike Banning. Whether Morgan Freeman and his wallet understand this is another matter.
