Haiti the flight of the inhabitants of the Carrefour Feuilles district

The onslaught of armed gang violence in the Haitian capital continues to force Haitians to flee their homes. At least 5,000 residents of the Carrefour-Feuilles district, plagued in recent weeks by the assaults of bandits from Gran Ravine, have had to abandon their homes. Violence by armed gangs has claimed more than 2,400 lives since the start of the year, the UN said on Friday.
