One person at a residential facility did not receive their epilepsy medication for two weeks. The result was a severe epileptic seizure that lasted twelve hours.
Now the incident is reported according to lex Maria to the Inspectorate for Care and Care (Ivo), reports Upsala Nya Tidning.
The incident occurred in October last year. The patient remained in hospital for two weeks and required intensive care monitoring during parts of his stay.
