After Truth only answers an important question about Trevor in the end credits scene, like this

This Wednesday, the August 16, 2023shows ProSieben at 8:15 p.m for the first time the After Passion sequel After Truth. After the tumultuous beginning of their love, Tessa (Josephine Langford) and Hardin (Hero Fiennes Tiffin) try to get their relationship back on track. But with Hardin’s changing moods, Tessa wonders if she wouldn’t be better off giving her affections to someone else.

After Passion sequel on TV today: After Truth only closes a crucial gap in the credits

After Truth (Original: After We Collided) is the second part of the film adaptation of the After book series * by Anna Todd. After Tessa recently fell in love with the bad boy Hardin, she is now allowed to do an internship in a publishing house Good-guy alternative Get to know the ups and downs of your previous relationship: Trevor MatthewsDylan Sprouse is perhaps a bit stiff, but always friendly, reliable and helpful. But is that enough to keep your hands off Hardin? (Warning, it will follow Spoilers for the After Truth ending.)

Of course not: At the end of After Truth, Tessa got back in the car with Hardin. And even though the second part of the After Passion series ended on the cliffhanger of Tessa’s homeless father, there’s more happening in the post-credits scene or actually Mid-credit scene: We see Trevor again.

For that last review After Truth jumps back in time to the party where Trevor previously disappeared without explanation. Now the film gives its perspective: Trevor talking to himself in the bathroom to ask Tessa out. But when he finally scrapes enough courage to do it, he has already missed his chance.

Why completing Trevor’s story before After Passion 3 is important

This scene is not relevant to Tessa and Hardin’s story Rounding out Trevor’s character already. While we could piece together his affection for Tessa after he didn’t mention Hardin’s phone call, Here’s After Truth confirming once and for all that he’s fallen in love with his co-worker and no longer wants to remain passive.

Despite its failure, After Truth arrives here End for Trevor’s story arc. We can close with him better this way and understand why he no longer appears from part 3, After Love: he has to accept his love defeat and disappears from Tessa’s life.

We can only hope, in Trevor’s favor, that ProSieben doesn’t skip the end credits scene during the TV broadcast, only to move on to commercials as soon as the film is over.
