Memories have been a critical part of the experience since it was first introduced many years ago, giving users a high-quality new way to experience old photos and videos. The brand redesigned Memories just a year ago. But now it’s making it more prominent in mobile apps and at the same time enriching it with powerful new AI tools.
Google is making Memories a bigger place in the app’s experience and adding its own tab to the app, making it easier for users to access their favorite memories. Of course, since we’re in 2023, Google is adding more AI to its apps, and the Memories feature is no exception. Artificial intelligence will edit photos and videos to create new Memories montages for users. But users will also be able to create their own montages by mixing photos and videos.
You can also operate manually
If you don’t like certain photos or videos that show up in Memories, you can manually remove the ones you want. Additionally, if you don’t like Memories at all, you can hide them completely. Also, the AI will now assist you by creating names that will help you add more personality to your Memories.
You can always edit these suggestions or choose to create them from scratch without the help of artificial intelligence. This feature is not yet shared with all users, and Google states that it will be available to selected users during the testing phase. Memories can be valuable when Google puts together the right moments. Google plans to offer a download option to make sharing them even easier in the future.
