In Amersfoort they are less concerned. With a backlog of 13 status holders on July 1, “the municipality is well in step”, says a spokesperson. “At the same time, we foresee a challenge for the next six months with an increase in the number of people to be housed of more than 25 percent compared to this six months.” This year, Amersfoort still has to house 258 status holders, including 20 minors.
