New World is bringing a transmog system later this summer that will allow you to swap armor and weapon skins. Since the stats play a big role, but not every skin in the game is successful, players have been waiting for this feature since the release. At the same time you can color your equipment in the future.
What did New World show? In a new video, the developers explain how the new transmog system works. You can unlock any armor or weapon skin that you have in your inventory or in your bank for the system. For each you need a transmog token.
Once unlocked, you can change the look of your gear at any outfit NPC at any time. This is in every large settlement. The change costs you nothing, whereby you can only pull skins of the respective weapon and armor type (light, medium, heavy) over your actual equipment.
Where do you get the tokens from? You can get them from elite chests in all content in the game. There will also be tokens in the free and paid Reward track of Season Passes and in the Tokens Shop. However, you should not be dependent on buying them.

What else does the mid-season update bring? Along with the transmog system, coloring also comes into play. With this you can color your armor according to your wishes. However, this will not be possible with the weapons.
