Three series tips: Raffling true crime documentaries

On Sunday, the series Telemarketers premiered, a series that reflects over twenty years at a telemarketing company. One of the main characters is Sam, who was 14 years old when he was hired, and who filmed his working days. Together with another employee, he began to realize that the money collected for charitable purposes ends up elsewhere.

– He thought that such strange things happened in this office, and over time they begin to investigate where the money goes. This is both deadly and interesting and is not an ordinary true crime, says Linus Fremin.

The series is produced by the Saftie brothers who also made the film Uncut gems, which according to Linus Fremin was praised as a kind of “hipster favourite”.

– And when you see this documentary, you understand why they wanted to make it. This is like a strange fictional story that turns out to be true, says Linus Fremin.

In the clip, Linus Fremin also hints at the series “Last call: When a serial killer stalked queer New York” and “The lady of silence: The mataviejitas murders”.
