The “Thunder Over Michigan” flight demonstration held in the US state of Michigan was on the verge of disaster. A MiG-23 aircraft, which took off from Willow Run Airport, crashed into the parking lot of an apartment building in the area for an unknown reason. While the Federal Aviation Administration announced that 2 pilots who had parachuted and landed in Lake Belleville in the region, were taken to the hospital with minor injuries, it was reported that there was no loss of life in the incident. On the other hand, it was announced that the flight show was terminated after the accident. A detailed investigation into the incident has been initiated.
