Birds worth 150,000 were stolen "not so big" MAN

The birds were in a storeroom that belongs to a closed natural farming high school north of Halmstad.

This morning there is no information on how the perpetrator got the birds, but the police’s spokesperson, Thomas Fuxborg, guesses that they are kept in cages.

“I find it hard to believe that a thief goes in and starts hunting canaries – it’s probably not that easy to catch them,” he says.

The caller, who described the perpetrator as “not that big,” is a friend of the birds’ rightful owner. They got into a car and drove towards the warehouse when the theft was detected via the surveillance system.

— When they arrive, they meet a dark blue car driving away at high speed, says Thomas Fuxborg.

The police will interview the owner of the birds about who could be behind the coup.

— They should be someone with knowledge that the birds are kept in this building and that they determine a value. I had no idea canaries cost so much.
