Sixty-six political parties and groups have been provisionally selected for the legislative elections scheduled for 20th December next. The Independent National Electoral Commission (Céni) released the long-awaited provisional list of candidates on Friday in Kinshasa after a 48-hour technical report. About fifty parties or groupings are temporarily excluded. Among the unfortunate, people close to power, as well as the opposition.
