(Finance) – Inflation on the rise in Spain in July has been confirmed. According to theSpanish Statistical Office INEthe consumer price index recorded +0.2% on a monthly basis, compared to +0.1% estimated in the first reading, and compared to +0.6% the previous month.
On an annual basis, there is a growth of 2.3%, (expected +2.3%), after the +1.9% in June.
Harmonized inflation records a positive change of 2.1% on an annual basis, as in the preliminary estimate, compared to +1.6% in the previous month. On a monthly basis, the figure marks a -0.1% (-0.1% expected) after the +0.6% in June.
