The talks announced in Kenya between the government and the opposition began on Wednesday. The objective is to find a way out of the crisis which opposes the head of state William Ruto to his rival Raila Odinga and which has led to a series of deadly demonstrations since March. At least 20 people were killed in clashes with police.
