Utrecht – A relatively large number of people suffer from scabies. The number of infections has been higher than last year since the beginning of the year. The number of cases fell slightly for a while, but the number of infections has been rising again in recent weeks. It is mainly 15 to 25-year-olds who contract the condition, reports knowledge institute Nivel. Last year, scabies also spread through the introduction weeks for new students. The introduction week starts next Monday in Utrecht.
