Over 100 people in question after the supporter’s murder

It was before Tuesday’s Champions League qualifier between Greek AEK Athens and Croatian Dinamo Zagreb that fans from the clubs clashed with each other in the Greek capital.

The fights on Monday led to a 29-year-old Greek man being stabbed to death and eight others injured.

Afterwards, 104 people were arrested, most of them under 30 years old.

All those arrested will now be heard by a Greek prosecutor.

According to Greek authorities, fans allegedly threw distraction grenades, stones and other burning objects near the arena where the match was to be played.

Following the unrest, the match has been postponed indefinitely.
