(Finance) – The average purchase price of electricity was equal to 101.07 euros/MWh in the week from July 31st to August 6th, down on the previous week’s 104.89 euro/MWh. This was communicated by GME, the manager of the electricity exchange, in the usual weekly update.
Also declining volumes of electricity traded directly on the GME exchange, equal to 4.1 million MWh from 4.5 million the previous week, with liquidity at 73.9%. The average selling prices varied between 100.60 euro/MWh in the North and 102.17 euro/MWh in Sicily.
