Mohamad was only 14 years old.

When the family tried to reach 14-year-old Mohamad, they received no response.
It was strange, because he never used to turn off his cell phone for so long. A day before, the mother had tried to call her son, also without receiving an answer.
They got a bad feeling.

He was reported missing.
According to the family, the HVB home had said that Mohamad might have gone out with some friends and that the home knew where they used to stay. But Mohamad still hadn’t been found.
A few days later, he would be found dead in a wooded area outside Nynäshamn.
A family was left with question marks.
What had happened to their son and brother?
Over a week has passed since the family received the death notice – they still do not know what has happened to Mohamad.
Mohamad’s sister says that she was very close to her brother.
– He was a very kind person and he had respect for adults and even younger people. He was a very good friend too, she says.

Mohamad’s mother feels that the HVB home did not take care of Mohamad.
– We called them again and they said they had nothing new. They said he’s coming back and he’s with some friends. They said they would look where he lived, says the mother.
The mother wished she had received more information.
The family was helped by a friend who made sure Mohamad ended up on the Missing People website a few days before police announced he had been found dead.
– Its sad. He and I were very close, says Mohamad’s sister.
Suspect murder
The police now suspect that Mohamad has been murdered. Prosecutor Hanna Cardell is leading the case.
– The boy had been subjected to severe violence, but I cannot go into what type of violence it is. A preliminary investigation into murder has been launched, but no one has been detained in the case, Hanna Cardell has previously said.
She has also said that it is currently not possible to assess whether the murder is connected to criminal groups.
Another teenage boy is still missing. That boy also allegedly disappeared from an HVB home.
According to information to Aftonbladet, Mohamad should have had knife injuries and the place of discovery is said not to be the scene of the murder, but the body should have been dumped in the forest.
