Two men are wanted in custody in the case of the suspected murder of a man in the municipality of Åstorp outside Helsingborg on Wednesday, Expressen reports.
After the man, who was in his 70s, was found dead in a residence, police quickly arrested two men, a 21-year-old who is suspected of murdering the man, and a 28-year-old man who is suspected of helping the young man escape.
Now the two men are requested to be detained on probable cause. Arrest proceedings will be held on Sunday afternoon, Karin Rosander, head of communications at the Public Prosecutor’s Office in Helsingborg, told TT.
The police are now also looking for witnesses to the incident to get help in the investigation, the police write on their website. At the same time, the police announce that all observations about the crime scene and the surrounding area are of interest.
