Since July 17, the Limak company, close to power in Turkey, has been cutting thousands of trees in order to expand its mining operations and supply coal to two thermal power stations in the south-east of the country, near Mugla. Mobilized on the spot, villagers and environmental activists take turns for a vigil near the Akbelen forest. They denounce expropriations by force, the destruction of nature and the risks of environmental pollution.
