During Saturday evening, the air traffic alert has sounded in almost all of Ukraine, reports Ukrainian Pravda. With reference to the Ukrainian Air Force, the online newspaper writes that Russia fired several cruise robots at several regions of the country.
At an early stage, the Air Force stated that the robots were headed for Kherson, Mykolajiv and Kirovohrad. Later, it was stated that the robots had reached the airspace of the city of Cherkasy in central Ukraine and the capital, Kiev.
According to the air force, robots have also been launched from Belarus.
The Ukrainian public service company Suspline reports that explosions were heard in several regions, including in Zaporizhzhya. The Guardian writes that explosions were also heard in the capital.
Yuri Malashko, the Ukrainian governor of Zaporizhzhya, writes on Telegram that robots have struck on the outskirts of the city. No one was injured, according to early reports.
