Shooter’s IP without artificial turf – Friska Viljor is forced to move its home matches

During the summer break, the plan was to replace the old artificial turf that had been on Friska Viljor’s home field since 2015. But because the work was not completed in time, the club has been forced to move its home matches. The team was faced with the choice of playing in Umeå or Bredbyn.

Last weekend, the team played its home premiere against Notviken at Olympia in Bredbyn.

At the moment, Friska Viljor trains at Arnäs IP, but they cannot play their matches there because the pitch is not approved for division 2 football.

SVT Västernorrland has tried to reach the chairman of the cultural and leisure board Björn Olsson (C) for comment.

Hear the team’s coach Pero Kapcevic talk about how Friska Viljor is affected by the delays with the artificial turf installation.
