In April, Eksjö district court sentenced two young women to life imprisonment for the murder of 21-year-old Tove in Vetlanda. The verdict has been appealed and as part of the prosecutor’s evidence, the National Board of Health and Welfare’s legal advice must come up with an opinion on the forensic investigation where the exact cause of death is clarified. That opinion will only come in a few weeks, and one of the defenders, Clea Sangborn, has therefore asked that the trial be postponed so that she has time to go through the material properly.
The Court of Appeal therefore now agrees, and the new dates for the hearing are 4, 10 and 12 October
Second delay
The Court of Appeal hearing was originally to have been held in June, but was postponed until August. Now there will be another delay.

The 20-year-old’s lawyer has questioned the coroner since the first day of the district court proceedings
