In several of the explosions during the wave of violence in Stockholm, homemade bombs made of car batteries were used. Depending on which side of the conflict you are on, the explosions have looked different. On the Kurdish fox’s side, it is precisely car batteries that have been used.
– It is still quite mixed, says Annika Carlsson, group manager of the chemistry section for NFC.
Stolen goods common explosive
This year, most explosions have taken place in southern Sweden, and there a common method has been dynamite, which criminals have obtained through theft from construction sites.
At the same time, the police seize more explosives before they have time to detonate.
– We get more in before it detonates, which I see as something positive, says Annika Carlsson.
