On the occasion of Russian Fleet Day, Russian President Vladimir Putin attended the traditional parade of ships in Saint Petersburg on Sunday July 30, to which he had invited several African officials, on site for the Russia-Africa summit which took place ended the day before. The opportunity for the Russian president to congratulate his sailors and announce the construction of new buildings.
