Police and an ambulance were called to an address in Sösdala, south of Hässleholm, because a 45-year-old man had been injured.
– What we know is that he has stab or cut injuries, but as I understand it, it is not life-threatening. He was talkative, but we will hold interviews with him during the day, says police spokesperson Evelina Olsson.
The man was taken to hospital for treatment, but the police have conducted searches with dog handlers in the area.
– Where they were is not where the crime was committed and there are a few question marks in what has happened, so we have not cordoned off any location and we have no suspects in the case, she says.
The incident is currently classified as attempted murder.
