The presence of the Wagner group in Belarus worries Poland and Lithuania. Troops from the paramilitary group have been stationed there since Yevgeny Prigojine’s failed rebellion against Moscow in late June. In the event of mercenary provocations, Warsaw and Vilnius reserve the right to completely close their border with their Belarusian neighbour.
