Police have closed two roads near Hagersville for what Haldimand’s OPP detachment is calling an “active incident” at an Indian Line Road address.
Along with OPP officers, the OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit, and an Emergency Response team are at the scene.
Police are asking the public to avoid the area right now and have closed Indian Line between Concession 16 Walpole and New Credit Road and Haldimand Road 44 at Concession 15 Walpole.
Police said there is no threat to public safety at this time but residents in that area can expect to see a heightened police presence.
