The security situation in Sweden is currently assessed as a third on a five-point scale.

On Friday, the police in the West region also announced that they are increasing their armament due to the deteriorating security situation. Personnel in police cars now always carry reinforcement weapons in the form of the MP5 weapon. The degree of weaponry inside police stations in the West region has also increased.
