Epic Games cuts off support for producers in Turkey
The biggest reason for this peering is unfortunately the restrictive payment methods. Especially the absence of an internationally accepted system such as PayPal in our country and the inability to provide a long-term payment system seems to have caused this situation. The e-mail and statement sent by the company are as follows;
“Hello ,
According to our records, you reside in Turkey. Unfortunately, we are no longer able to participate in the Creators Support Program for Turkish based Creators as we are currently unable to work long-term with a third-party payment provider in your area. Therefore, your Support for Creators account will be disabled on August 15, 2023. If you’ve earned $100 or more from purchases or code purchases by August 15, we’ll send you a final payment for that amount. If the total amount of purchases or code purchases linked to your program account is less than $100 by August 15, all attributed amounts will be reset and you will not be paid.
If you’re eligible for a final payment, after August 15, Epic will send you an email on how to get your final payment. Your creator code will be kept until further notice so no one else can retrieve it.
If you are no longer a resident of the UK, please contact Epic Games Player Support for assistance in updating your country of residence and re-applying to the program. More information on eligible regions can be found on the Supporting Creators FAQ page.
Thank you for your interest in the Supporting Creators program. We continue to work on finding a long-term payment provider for your region. We will contact you if we can reopen the program in your region.
