It’s the YouTube channel “PSVR Without Parole” that throws the scoop, specifying that this decision would have been made internally at Sony to generate a sufficient number of helmets for the launch to avoid significant stock shortages as was the case with the PS5. This would mean that the end-of-year holiday period would therefore be missed for Sony Interactive Entertainment, which will certainly offer another launch window to capitalize on the VR headset dedicated to the PS5. If the words of “PSVR Without Word” are taken very seriously, it is also because the channel had in the past revealed the technical characteristics of PS VR 2 and game Horizon Call of the Mountain long before their official announcement.
