Alarms were received by the police about loud explosions shortly before 02 on Tuesday night, and when the patrol arrived at the scene, they could ascertain that shooting had occurred.
– We went to the scene but could not find any injured person, but we found damage to a gate inside a property that could indicate that someone had shot, says Lars Göran Nilseryd, officer on duty at police region East.
The site is cordoned off and a technical investigation is to be carried out.
– We have started a preliminary investigation regarding aggravated weapons offenses and aggravated unlawful threats, the latter because there was probably some meaning to the shots, perhaps as a warning, says Lars Göran Nilseryd.
