The 5-part fantasy saga * by Rick Riordan suggested comparisons to Harry Potter early on with its magic school (or the camp inspired by Greek mythology). Here, too, the story of the young demigod who is supposed to prevent a war of the Olympian gods, a trio of friends at the center: In addition to the title character Percy Jackson (Walker Scobell), these include his classmate Annabeth Chase (Leah Jeffries) and satyr buddy Grover Underwood (Aryan Simhadri). These three major new stars have now received character posters from Disney+.
In the first short teaser trailer for the Percy Jackson series 10 months ago, the new main actor Walker Scobell (from Netflix’ The Adam Project) was only briefly seen. Now we get our first look at the costumed trio, which could mean the first proper trailer for the fantasy series isn’t far away.
