Haunting Batman backdrop cut from The Flash
As reported by The Wrap, Warner has released an approximately 8-minute featurette on The Flash about Keaton’s Batman return. In the video, which you can watch in full on YouTube, director Andy Muschietti reveals, among other things, that a tragic backstory has been removed from The Flash.
This was about Keaton’s Batman giving up his career after unknowingly killing a Villain killed right in front of his kid had. The situation was intended as a direct mirror of Bruce Wayne’s own traumatic childhood when a villain killed his parents right in front of him.
