At least 15 people have died and another 19 are missing after a ferry sank off the Indonesian island of Sulawesi.
The ferry, which had 40 people on board, capsized shortly after midnight local time, according to a statement from the country’s emergency services.
Six people were rescued and have been taken to hospital. A search effort for the missing persons is underway both from boats and through diving at the accident site.
It is still unclear what caused the accident, but the incident will now be investigated, according to the emergency services.
