Elon Musk hinted at the name change in a series of posts on Twitter on Sunday morning. Now he announces that the domain x.com directs the user to Twitter’s homepage, and that a new logo will be revealed shortly.
Musk previously runs the company SpaceX and has named a Tesla model X. He also has a son, together with the artist Grimes, named X Æ A-12 Musk.
As early as April, it became clear that Twitter was part of the new company X Corp, but it is only now that it means changes for the app.
