Taki sets out to find Mitsuha… but it’s difficult.
What to do with Your Name. should expect: your name starts out as a fun “body swap story” like you’ve seen countless times before. But this cliché quickly dissolves and develops into an exciting story in which Taki and Mitsuha have to solve significantly more problems in order to finally be able to meet each other. The less you know about this film beforehand, the better it is.

At school, Shouya Ishida has a perfect way to kill boredom: he bullies the deaf Shouko for fun. The rest of the class joins in. Many years later at college, Shouya accidentally meets Shouko again – and sees it as an opportunity to make up for past mistakes.
What to expect from A Silent Voice: A Silent Voice is not only a story about physical limitations, but also about bullying – and what that does to victims and perpetrators. How quickly a one-time perpetrator becomes a victim himself and how quickly the group dynamic can turn against a new target is also part of the plot, as are some tougher themes.
