Two adults and a child died after a fire started in a house in San Antonio, Texas, early Sunday morning local time.
A total of six people were in the house. Five of them were taken to hospital, where two more died. For the three survivors, the injuries are life-threatening, according to the rescue service.
The alarm about the fire came at three o’clock in the morning and when the rescue service arrived at the scene, screams were heard from inside the house.
The cause of the fire has not been determined.
