A strong expansion has taken place in Källparken in Uppsala. The police were called to the scene just before 11pm on Saturday, after several calls about loud bangs.
– We don’t know what kind of explosive charge it is, it seems to be something homemade, says Magnus Jansson Klarin at the police.
Remains have been seized and will be analysed.
– It is a strange explosion, due to the way it was placed, we do not suspect that it was made to injure someone, but more of a test, says Magnus Jansson Klarin of the police.
No one has been injured in connection with the explosion, which the police are investigating as public destruction and a gross violation of the Act on Flammable and Explosive Goods.
