The E18 is closed in both directions and travelers are advised to take alternative routes.
The alarm about the accident came in to the rescue service at 16.20 on Friday.
The condition of the person who is said to be injured is unclear.
The rescue service’s assessment is that the road will be able to be opened again around 5:30 p.m.
