Probably none of those present expected Downey Jr.’s answer:

I like Gwyneth Platrow. I adore her like a sister…like a sister, who you might have made out with a few times.

Of course, Downey Jr. is only joking. But it’s worth taking a look at the video for Nolan’s facial expression alone.

Downey Jr. and Paltrow have appeared in several Marvel films together as Tony Stark and Pepper Potts on camera from Iron Man (2008) to Avengers 4: Endgame (2019). In Oppenheimer, Downey Jr. plays US politician Lewis Strauss, whom he also talks about in the interview.
